Before you have an account

Your instruction and answers are stored in this browser. Anyone who can use the same browser profile can read them. Clearing site data removes them.

With an account

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. There is no password to leak.
• Your data is stored in a Supabase database. Access to each account's records is limited to that account by row-level rules, and the web service checks your sign-in on every request.
• Data is sent over HTTPS. Requests are rate limited.
• Your instruction text is not sent to analytics, error tracking or any AI service.
• Shared Manuals are private unless you choose what to share. Employers on team plans cannot see personal Manuals.
• Store purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never receive card numbers.

Your copy and deletion

You can export your Manual and delete your account on the account page.

Reporting a problem

Report a suspected security issue through support, or email hello@ownmode.app. Include the page, the time and the steps to reproduce. Do not include passwords, private instruction text or store receipts.
